On Tuesday the sixth of May Platinum Stable opened for the first time after the big renovation of the equestrian complex. The stable is located in the city of Riel (Noord-Brabant province) The pre-opening was a big success.
Platinum Stable aims to bridge the gap between dressage sport in The Netherlands and the dressage sport in Singapore, Indonesia and China. They want to achieve this with the help of the recently finished training center. The Indonesian government encourages and supports this project. Breeding, training and selling of very talented dressage horses from The Netherlands will support this goal.
Next to that, Platinum Stable owns several KWPN-approved stud stallions that are available for breeding. Platinum Stable recently acquired the IPS Stud in the Belgium town Weelde. Adjustments to this equestrian complex will soon be made so it can be used as an EU-certified stud that has international allure.
Several dignitaries attended the pre-opening. The stable had the pleasure to receive, amongst others, the Mayor of Goirle, representatives of the Indonesian Government and representatives of the Bank of Indonesia. Several high quality horses that are owned by Platinum Stable were showed during the pre-opening under guidance of the Dutch stallion keeper Joop van Uytert. Rider Tommie Visser and the KWPN-approved stud stallion United formed the highlight of the afternoon.
The official opening of Platinum Stable will be held in August this year.
